Fashion Friday – Mickey Mouse + Old Navy = Summer Fun!

Old Navy and Disney have teamed up to launch an exclusive collection featuring a celebration of Disney artwork to commemorate Mickey’s 85^th Anniversary! The timeless nature of Mickey and his friends is captured magically in these vintage style tees for the whole family.  Upon entering the Old Navy Mickey Through the Decades site,  you will find a link to the tees featuring the famous mouse couple Mickey & Minnie, a mouse’s best friend Pluto, the leader of the club M-I-C-K-E-Y, and, of course, Donald Duck! From v-necks to crews and tanks, if you are a Disney fan, you will find a tee that allows you to express your inner mouse while also dipping back into the nostalgic era of childhood. These shirts not only showcase beloved Disney characters, they are also tag-free and made of a medium weight jersey. You can count on being cool and comfortable in the summer heat at a Disney Park or running errands around town. Although I often “save” my prized Disney shirt collection for our Disney Parks vacations, this new clothing line may just permit me to literally wear my Disney heart on my sleeve more often!

In addition to having the privilege of wearing a piece of Disney history, the Old Navy site also hosts a sweepstakes worth around $10,000! You can enter once a day in one of three ways: through Facebook, online, or over text message. The grand prize includes a trip for four to Los Angeles, CA, roundtrip airfare, three night hotel accommodations, and a couple behind the scenes tours of Disney Consumer Products and the El Capitan Theater. All of these freebies are created with the same retro artwork styling that you will find on the tee collection.
